This website presents research at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, that focus on childhood and educational institutions, with a particular interest on early childhood education and care for under three-year-old children. The institutional dynamics, routines, practices and children’s agencies are analyzed by applying diverse tools from relational and spatial perspectives and approaches in social sciences and education.
